Cooper's Chance has an open return policy and will accept the return of our approved, rescued pets with 72 hours notice for any reason, for the life of the animal. Our goal is to never have our rescued animals back into a shelter or dangerous environment again. The animal must be returned in healthy condition, with good temperament and current on vaccinations.
Sponsored Pets - Reduced Fee
Some of our rescued pets have been given a second chance and are sponsored by one of our amazing supporters. These pets are available for a discount fee and are indicated with "SPONSORED" at the end of their description. To sponsor a rescued pet of your own, please visit our donatepage.
Community Post - Owner Surrender
Community Posting (No Place Like Home Program): Some of our adoptable pets appear on our websites as a courtesy post to the community, fellow rescues or pet owners. These adoptable pets are identified with a "Yes" in the Courtesy Listing on their descriptions page. This program provides an alternative to surrendering their pet into a shelter. If you are interested in adopting one of these pets, use contact information in post description.

Are you ready to adopt your best friend? If you're ready to make the commitment to rescue a homeless pet, we may have just what you're looking for. There are a few steps to finding your next companion, but it's all worth it to find your purr-fect match! The first step is completing and submitting an Adoption Application for the pet(s) you are interested in. Once we receive the application, we will contact you to answer any questions you have and to set up the meet and greet. The meet and greet is usually completed at your home with the pet, so your entire family can meet them. If it feels like a good match, the pet may stay with you for 24-48 hours prior to adoption for a "settling" in period, to make sure it's a perfect fit for all. There is never an obligation to adopt, our goal is to find a perfect match for all people and pets involved.
